About Ph.D.

A PhD, short for Doctor of Philosophy is a low-level medical program for 3 years.  It can take a candidate from three to six years or more to complete their doctorate.  The program focuses on learning that provides in-depth knowledge of the selected field through advanced theosophical and research studies.

To apply for a PhD, one must hold a master's degree in a selected subject.  PhD aspirants can pursue that degree in any broadcast, as long as they have prior academic experience in the field.  Previously, applicants may pursue that grade using the distance mode, but, according to the 2017 cycle issued by the UGC (University Grant Commission), PhD programs followed by distance learning mode will no longer be available.
